SuperHeroes poker playing cards.

 I've created a themed 54-card poker deck inspired by the universe of Marvel and also DC Comics. It's important to remember that this deck is nothing more than a joke but also a graphic exercise that bears an obvious resemblance to the characters from Tim Burton's wonderful universe. A card game that simply aims to bring a smile to all those comic book or board game collectors who enjoy playing or collecting these types of original items. 2.48 X 3.46 inches.

PUNK ROCK TAROT DECK BY FRAN CARRAS

  For this deck I have drawn the 78 cards that make up the Tarot universe trying to reflect a more rebellious and nihilistic universe, specifically that of the punk rock scene.

To do this I have transformed the different archetypes that make up the Major and minor Arcana in anarchic characters with colorful crests and flashy clothes, in a carefree but non-conforming attitude, sometimes even violent, which characterized this youth movement. To create the minor arcana I have been inspired by the different scenes beautifully illustrated by Pamela Colman for the very popular Rider-White tarot and I have turned them into nice punk scenes full of symbolism and references to this musical movement.

Taking into account that the punk motto was: There is no Future, this tarot can hardly be considered predictive. Moreover, considering another motto which said: Die young and leave a beautiful corpse, it cannot be considered a therapeutic tarot either. Otherwise, and if there is an uninhibited complicity between the tarot reader and the seeker, this is a fully functional tarot and I would say that it is much more fun than the conventional ones. @tarot

 BARAJA DEL PUNK ROCK TAROT 
POR FRAN CARRAS

   Para esta baraja he dibujado las 78 cartas que conforman el universo del Tarot tratando de reflejar un universo mas rebelde y nihilista, concretamente el de la escena punk rock.

   Para ello he transformado los distintos arquetipos que conforman los Arcanos Mayores y menores en anárquicos personajes con crestas de colores y ropas llamativas, en una actitud despreocupada pero contestataria, a veces incluso violenta, que tanto caracterizó a este movimiento juvenil. Para realizar los arcanos menores me he inspirado en las distintas escenas que ilustró maravillosamente Pamela Colman para el muy popular tarot Rider-White y las he convertido en simpáticas escenas punk repletas de simbolismos y referencias a este movimiento musical.

    Teniendo en cuenta que la máxima punk rezaba: No hay Futuro, difícilmente este tarot se podrá considerar como predictivo. Además atendiendo a otra máxima que rezaba Muere joven y deja un bonito cadáver, tampoco se le puede considerar un tarot terapéutico. Por todo lo demás, y sí existe una complicidad desinhibida entre el tarotista y el consultante, este es un tarot totalmente funcional y diría que mucho mas divertido que los convencionales.
